Here’s what I mean. Let’s use weight loss as a classic example…
When someone makes a New Year’s Resolution to “lose weight”,
here’s how it usually goes:
— Realized they’ve gained a lot of weight after
all the Christmas dinners…
— Tell themselves “I’m gonna lose some
weight!”…
— Set “health targets” and get excited…
— Join a gym and get a gym membership…
— Go to the gym for two weeks…
— Buy a bottle of weight loss supplement from a
sleazy salesman…
— Buy 10 diet books, just in case the first one
doesn’t work out…
— See a gym equipment ad and buy it…
— Never use the gym equipment and let it
collect dust…
— Buy a slimming program that continues selling
you program after program but never losses any weight….
— 2019 ends and…
They’re still at the same weight or usually after losing 1kg to 2 kg end up putting back after 2 weeks.
Why does this happen?
Because New Year’s resolutions doesn’t give you clarity and real solutions.
It gives you a good idea of where you want to be, but NOT what to do.
So, how do we solve this? Forget New Year’s resolutions!
“Reverse engineer” the result you want instead.
What do I mean by “reverse engineer”?
Well, for starters, let’s set GOAL as an example since we can easily quantify it.
For you to achieve your yearly health goal, you need to know your M.W.G.
M.W.G. stands for Monthly Weight Goal.
And here’s how it works:
Let’s say you want to lose 30kg in a year,
Now divide that number by 365 days.
30kg / 365 days = 0.082kg per day.
That’s how much you need each day to get to 30kg/year.
They’re still at the same weight or usually after losing 1kg to 2 kg end up putting back after 2 weeks.
Why does this happen?

your your weekly weight goal…
If you hit 2.5kg per month, that means you’ve
hit your monthly weight goal…and that means you’ll hit your yearly weight goal!
Each and every day, you’ll know if you’re moving
towards the goal or missing the target.
